A little help
Denomly support
Help with counts, closeouts, saved history, sharing reports, and device backups in Denomly.
Need a hand? Email support@nstudios.dev. Tell us what you expected, what happened, and the steps that led to it. Include your device model, operating-system version, app version if available, and selected language.
Counts and reports are not sent automatically. Use invented amounts when possible, and remove information you do not want to share from screenshots or attachments. We will never need your device passcode or account password.
How is a closeout calculated?
Counted cash comes from the denomination quantities you enter. Expected cash is starting cash plus cash sales, minus payouts or drops. The difference is counted cash minus expected cash: a positive difference is over, a negative difference is short, and zero is balanced.
If a result looks wrong, recount the drawer and check each source amount. A report reflects your entries; it cannot confirm that cash was physically present or that sales and payouts were entered correctly.
Which currencies and languages are supported?
Denomly currently counts US dollars and offers English and Spanish. Change the app language in Settings. Quantities must be whole numbers. Cash fields accept a dot or comma for decimal cents, such as 1.50 or 1,50. If you use grouping separators, include decimal cents, such as 1,234.56 or 1.234,56; an ambiguous entry such as 1,234 is rejected.
Where did my count go?
Look for unfinished work under Open Counts and saved records in History. A Count Only record saves your denomination count. Completing a Closeout adds your expected cash and difference. Editing a saved report updates that record when you finish it again.
Wait for the saved-on-device indicator before closing the app. If the app reports a save error, keep your work open and use Retry. Check that your device has free storage. If records fail to load, contact support before clearing storage or reinstalling; those actions can remove local data.
Can I restore data or move it to another phone?
Denomly does not have an account or its own cloud sync. Your Apple or Android backup and device-transfer settings may include the app's data. Follow your operating-system provider's instructions for those features. Restoration depends on the available backup and is not guaranteed by Denomly.
Sharing a report saves a readable copy, not a full backup that can be imported into the app. Keep copies of records you need before clearing app storage or uninstalling. See the privacy policy for how backups and shared copies are handled.
How do I share a report?
Open a saved report and choose a sharing action: image, text, or copy text. Image sharing is available in the native mobile app when supported by the device. Review the report and choose its destination in your device's sharing sheet. Canceling the sheet leaves the saved report in History.
If image sharing fails, try sharing or copying the text. If the problem persists, include your device and operating-system details in a support message. No report needs to be attached unless you choose to include it.
How do I delete records?
Delete a saved record from History or discard an open count. To remove all open counts and saved history on this device, use the data-clearing action in Settings and confirm it. This leaves your preferences in place. Deleting a saved record can leave its separate open draft available, so check Open Counts too.
Deleting records in Denomly does not remove reports already shared, copies stored in other apps, support emails, or existing operating-system backups. Manage those copies separately.
